100% cotton diapers
The Stork uses only 100% cotton, cloth diapers. Nice and soft.
What your baby's bottom likes best (if it could only talk).
With service, you get DSQ (diaper service quality) pre-folds,
designed for high-absorption. Technically-speaking, they are 4x8x4diapers
(4 layers by 8 layers by 4 layers), not the single-
layer square you buy for burp cloths.
All Stork laundering complies with the
strict cleanliness and sanitation guidelines of the Joint Commission
for Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
no pins, no struggle, no worries
Since they are pre-folds, you don't have to do any fancy-dancy
origami to get them on your kid. Simply take one, overlap it in
thirds and lay it in a cover. Close the velcro fastens and you're
snug, off and running. (Or, if you're using Snappi clips, simply
snag the
clips on the sides and bottom and you're done.)
no scraping, no soaking
We do the washing. Just toss the diapers
straight into the hamper.
diaper do’s:
Use the plastic bag your diapers are delivered in to line your hamper.
Keep your hamper out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources.
Sprinkle baking soda frequently in the hamper to deter odor and
mildew. (Click here for other great baking
soda uses)
Twist-tie your bag for pickup (don’t tie a knot in the bag).
Set your soiled diapers out for pickup by 8:00am every Tuesday.
diaper don’ts:
Don't rinse or soak soiled diapers. Just
drop them in the hamper.
Don't put disposable diapers in with your cloth diapers.
Don't set out your diapers where they might be confused for trash.
Don't use liners. They are unnecessary and we have to pick them
out (yuck).
Don’t use zinc
oxide rash ointments. It's not so great for babies and diapers.
We recommend petroleum/zinc-free Baby
Bottom Better ointment.
And, please don’t
use diapers for household cleaning (we do sell diaper rags for that).
